Chaithanya Mallikarjun, M.D.
Dr. Mallikarjun (Mal-i-car-jun) is a board-certified gastroenterologist. She joined Stone Oak Gastroenterology after completing her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center, New Orleans, LA.
Known as "Dr. M," she treats patients with all types of GI issues. She believes that your GI tract is a mirror of overall health. Dr. M has a special interest in helping female patients with their gastrointestinal needs. Her mission is to reduce colon cancer by detecting the disease early and educating patients about the importance of screening colonoscopies.
Before she did her GI fellowship, she worked as a transplant hepatologist at Tulane University Medical Center where she provided care to patients with liver diseases. Dr. M completed her transplant hepatology training at Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans, LA.
Dr. M is originally from Southern India. She is an avid sports fan and is a state level sprinter champion. Now she calls San Antonio her home with all of its wonderful people and culture. Dr. M loves to cook, her passion for nutrition is what originally sparked her interest in gastroenterology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr Mallikarjun is very nice, knowledgeable and listens to my concerns.
I love this and have been coming for Monte's great food even since they were at a previous location. A highlight of my vacation I always look forward to and back on. Saying hi to Monte is always a sweet part of the experience Parking: $3 per hour

Nice place, well decorated, attended by the owner and assistants. They have remittance shipments to the countries of Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
