"My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Otero for many years and have had several colonoscopies throughout those years. We both feel he is a wonderful doctor and feel he is one of, if not, the best in San Antonio. He has always been nothing but kind, patient, informing and eager to answer any questions we have. He is truly a good man and an exceptional doctor. As with any office who has a staff, there are going to be weaker links at times, Dr. Otero responds to staff issues and does his best to rectify those issues. I chose to give a 5 star rating because I have experienced a staff problem, informed Dr. Otero of the problem and he eagerly put in the work to correct the issue, what more can be asked of a Doctor with a large staff? I will add, I wish ALL doctors had Dr. Otero’s kindness, heart and skill."

"The whole experience went really well. The appointment was set and my pre session medication was mailed to my home. I was able to follow the directions easily and arrived at the clinic early ready to get it over with. The staff was very efficient and helpful with filling out the remaining forms I needed. Because I wasan early I actually got into the procedure room a little early and the nurse prepped me and explained what was going to happen. They administered the anesthesia and I was out on the way home in less than an hour. I don't know if they all go like this but my entire procedure went great."

"I am a Gringo, but kind of an expert with Mexican Food. And my Spouse is from Mexico. We ate here Sunday,11/24/24, around 5:00 p.m., it was our first visit. The food was very good! Pros: On Street Parking;free this time of year, BYOB, clean appearance, Nice decor!, clean bathroom. Server was very efficient, listened and was friendly. Food: Salsas Roja y Verde were good! Could be a bit more spicy ( pica ). Salsa Chipotle was very good, smokey / spicy. Burrito de pollo had much flavor! Torta de Tinga Pollo Chipotle was very good! Guacamole was fresh and very tasty!!! Reasonable prices! Cons: Dining area has close seating if sitting in booth tables. A little less salt in the Burrito would be better. I would recommend this place to friends and family!!! Definitely try the Guacamole. See pics."

"The food is so fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! Plus the staff is so warm and welcoming! This is mine and my husband's new favorite place and will be going weekly. Please when you go do not skip dessert their Tres Leches it is to die for!!! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burrito, quesadilla, rice & beans, salad Parking: Montes is located in Seaside Heights NJ so in the winter you will have no problem finding parking. Summer time can be a little rough, but parking a few blocks away and walking there is totally worth it!"

"Dr. Ayyar is very knowledgeable and responsive. The first time I saw him was after I had been to emergency room multiple times but they just kept running different test. He came in and did a scope and was able to diagnose the problem right away. Prescribed the medicine and was relieved right away. This last time I had left my medicine on a visit and set up a appointment at which time he gave me a new prescription and all is well again. i highly recommend him and his staff for any of your gastric problems."

"San Antonio Gastroenterology Associates 520 E. Euclid Ave. San Antoino, TX 78212 Their there to do their job sign you in wait your turn could be 15 minutes to 30 45 at most. But yet they want you there 15 minutes early to sign in. Their focus on getting you in and out once your in the waiting room to see the PA never see the dr. But again they do their jobs and move you out. Now to get your results. Takes them for ever I had to call several times to get them. But the only reason I stay with this office is cause when I do se Dr Guerra his very good 👍 at what he does. On the other hand would very much like to thank James and Laurie, and his staff. Such nice individuals every single one of them. At Heartlink cardiac rehab 8811 Northeast Village Dr San Antonio TX 78217 I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customize service that made me focus, and was enjoyable to do my heartlink cardiac rehab with them. They efficiently organized our exercises to some fun music and now that I'm done with my physical therapy I carry the same organization to my gym workouts and it makes it fun and not so much a task and much easier to complete my routine instead of doing 15 minutes on 3 different machines 3 times a week I'm doing 4 to 5 days 20 to 30 minutes on each machine and at home I'm able to do and hour on my treadmill. They've given me that motivation to continue. And not be scared or afraid to improve and demonstrate my ability to break down my workouts into a manageable hour and feel good once I'm done for the day. Thank you all I definitely appreciate your support God bless you all. Continue doing what you're doing cause it matters more than you know. Gives us back more than just our confidence. Gives us back the ability to know that we can do better and not feel less then we are. Miss you all ! But one last thing don't put the food channel on put a fun game show on instead! "The clinic is very well set up I came in 1 hour before my appointment the paperwork took all of 10 minutes to fill out they took my vitals brought me upstairs and within another 10 to 15 minutes I was wheeled into the procedure room and I was out of there before my wife was able to get home she turned around and got me I had a 730 appointment and I was home by 9 very quick very professional there was not one thing I experienced that was negative about the entire experience."

"A wall sign in rear waiting room says no electronic devices so I didn't take my cell phone back with me and wasn't able to communicate with my husband. Staff was too busy to relay my status in recovery and when my husband asked he was told to just wait. She wasn't rude just not helpful."

Sorry did not meet man working on scopes but thank you for working with scopes and computers. Sorry they were acting up and had to be rebooted. Thanks to all the team, was great from start to finish. "Dr. Flores has been recommended to me by two of my other specialists as the GI doctor that will get to the bottom of my GI issues. My husband recently paid a visit to Dr. Flores. My husband, who complains more than I do about dismissive health providers, was impressed with Dr. Flores. I remembered Dr. Flores from having transcribed his dictation while employed by Christus Santa Rosa. He remembered me as well! Dr. Flores is one of the best physicians in his field. He’s personable and professional at the same time. He is not dismissive of a patient’s presenting issues. My husband, who’s hard to please, loves his new doctor. Now, if I could be forgiven for past mistakes, at a time I was panicky, I would love for Dr. Flores to be my GI Specialist as well! He currently also treats my older brother and younger sister. I would love to be included."

She said would retake. She did not attempt to remove cuff, so I took off and attempted to place on other arm. She grabbed it from me. I responded. " you don't need to do that" she responded " you didn't needed to pull off your cuff" I am a nurse. I knew how to handle the cuff. In addition, my sister had passed away several days earlier. I did not needbany further confrontation. Thus, I remained quiet not making eye contact during the history review. I did make the PA aware as well. Ty."

"Dr. Joseph E. Johnson IV and his staff did an excellent job. However, the intake nurse didn't know how to do a proper IV. It took 7 times before the IV was finally in my arm. Then it was so painful, I could hardly stand it. This left bruises on my arm and hand. The anesthesiologist with Dr. Johnson in the procedure room was kind enough to redo the IV and he did an excellent job. After that everything went well. They even checked up on me the next day to see how I was doing. If you need to have a colonoscopy I highly recommend Dr. Johnson."

"I recently had an appointment with Dr. Jeff Bullock a couple of weeks ago. I was dealing with an issue in my esophagus as a result of longtime GERD. Upon walking into the medical office I was immediately welcomed in by a professional front desk staff. After a brief wait I was called back to meet Dr. Bullock. I explained my situation and he asked me some questions about other potential symptoms. I also advised Dr. Bullock of my concerns of taking proton pump inhibitors (PPI’s) for so many years and the reported potential side effects. He immediately put my fears at ease as he presented me with the latest clinical research findings and how the reported claims were simply not true and why. He then slowly explained the cause of my issue, a proposed treatment plan and he also recommended I try a new to me prescription medicine and an over the counter product, and how he thought it should work better for me. After just a couple of days my symptoms subsided and I feel so much better both physically and mentally knowing I am now in such good hands with Dr Bullock. It can me difficult for any of us to try new doctors and practices, but this was definitely the best move for me and I suspect anyone that Dr. Bullock treats. A true professional that’s at the top of his field in Gastrointestinal medicine."

"I come to this SAGA Westover hills location regularly. Dr Kevin Franklin diagnosed my idiopathic Gastroparesis pretty quickly 2 years ago. I had to wait a couple months to be seen, but I was dealing with my GI issues for almost 2 years so a couple months wait was worth it when I finally had an answer. With just one important question he narrowed down my differential diagnosis. He ordered a endoscopy (within weeks) which confirmed my Gastroparesis. With metoclopramide and omeprazole my symptoms improved, as well as my quality of life. After my diagnosis, maybe about 8 months later, I was having upper right quadrant abdominal pain and was seen at my PCP, who ordered a CT and found nothing remarkable. I then scheduled an appointment with Dr Franklins PA, Jennifer Martinez, and she told me my symptoms were typical for gallbladder disease, and she ordered a CCK imaging test, which confirmed my gallbladder functioning at 3%. She then recommended me for a cholecystectomy with Dr Vargas. I was scheduled for surgery about 4 months after my initial symptom onset. I have since been so much better. She sees me at regular follow ups and put me on a prescription probiotic which has helped all of my GI symptoms as well. I am so glad I found this practice and the medical team that has helped me tremendously. The front desk is always so kind and professional as well. I’ve never had an issue here, just typical wait times for a doctors office, nothing too crazy. I’ve never waited hours to be seen or anything."

After the procedure, Dr. Flores came to visit to explain his findings, what he had to do, plus what to expect next. You are finally rolled out in a “limo” wheelchair, for safety purposes due to the lingering anesthesia.
